Room 88 (by Smurfs) ECTOCOMP 2025

It was a quiet night and the Frankfurt´s family was going on a vacation. Just a normal night, right? Let me tell you the whole story[[...->the whole story]] +

They got home and Jonny saw something on his bed. It was a piece of paper but there was something red on it. Wait! It was blood! Johny: "Dad there is somethink on my bed! Come here!" Dad: "Coming! Okey, I am here. What did you say?" Jonny: "THERE IS SOMETHING ON MY BED!" Dad: "Ok, ok! Let me see[[...->dad sees]]

They came to the hotel. It was an an old hotel with lots of spiders. And the smell. The smell was even worse. Dad: ,Hello! Anybody here? We would like a room for three people." A strange man came to them. He had very long arms and a very weird smile. He came even closer and said: ,,Welcome! Do you have an a resevation? Dad: "Yes, we have a reservation for a week." Strange man: "There is a little problem. We have only one room left and it´s in the basement." What will Frank do? [[take the room]] or [[start screaming at him and go away]]

Strange man: "Here is the key. Your number is 88. If you need anything, I am here. They reached the basement and opened the room[[...->room]]

He started to scream at the strange man but the receptionist kept comming up with the same answer: I am sorry, but we don´t have other rooms left." Frank was so angry that he calld the taxi and they went [[back home.->go home]]

It was 10pm and they just fell asleep. Suddenly, something fell on the ground. Jonny woke up but he didn´t pay much attention. He was too tired[[...->tired Johny]]

The room was quite normal - too normal for that kind of hotel. Frank: "You see? It´s just normal. So, can we please go to bed now?" Maria: "Ok, but I am not sure about this hotel, Frank." Frank: "..." Maria: "Fine!" They slept the whole night and in the morning [[...->morning]]

As they all woke up they found a second note. It said: "I know you would come, so we are going to play a game. You have to escape this basemant but you have only five hours. If you win, I will let you live and you will NEVER see me again. But[[...->But]]

They slept for too long and the time run out. You lost.

...as they step out from the taxi, they smelt a death body. Jonny (their Son): "Dad this isn´t the vacation you bougt." Frank (Dad): "I know, I know, Jonny! But it was on sale!" Jonny: "But dad! Mom, say something!" Maria (Mom): "Frank! Please! I don´t think we shoud stay here." Frank: "Don´t worry, guys, it will be fun. Trust me!" So, what will they do? [[go home]] or [[go there anyway]]

He opened the piece of paper. "Wait! It´s a note. But from whom? The house was locked the whole time?!" He reads it aloud. "Frank, how dare you to leave the hotel?!
